Doris was born in Lexington, Texas. She grew up as the youngest of ten (10) siblings and the only daughter of Jacob and Rosetta Greene (both deceased).
She graduated from Giddings High School, in Giddings, Texas; Attended Paul Quinn College in Waco, Texas; Graduated from Amber University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business, emphasis in Management.

I became an ordained deacon in 1990 and have served in the Deacon ministry, including as Chairman of Deacons, Moderator of the Joint Board and Coordinator of the Shepherd ministry. Also served with the AV ministry, the Men’s Ministry, as coordinator of the Grief ministry, Leader of the Senior Adult ministry, Initiator of the Veterans Recognition services, as a VBS worker, the Male chorus, the Spirit of Caleb choir, the Mass choir, the Missions outreach, the Jail and prison ministry and many more activities and committees.
Doris has served as assistant to the children’s programs director, VBS worker and has continued to serve as Director of the Drama ministry for almost 25 years. She organized and facilitated a women’s Monday night Bible study group. She has participated with the Mass choir and the Amazing Grace dance team. She is presently the president of the Deaconess ministry, and participates with the Bible Study Fellowship International (BSF). She also participate with, the Women’s chorus and the Spirit of Caleb.
Professionally: Doris and I are both retired. She retired from the US Postal Services and I retired from the Department of Defense.
