About Us

Pam and I joined The Mount in around December 1985, shortly after we were married. We were part of the BTU school classes. Joyce Miller taught classes and we received certifications as teachers for the “Training Union”.  We joined the usher board and Pam sang in the choir for a while. I was ordained a Deacon in July of 1988 under Pastor Rodgers, shortly after that I was over the benevolence committee after Cornell Shane.

I work for the City of Garland in the building Inspection department. I have been in construction most of all my life, Pam is a college professor at Collin County Community College.

I am from Denver Colo, and graduated from East High School in Denver.  I graduated from The University of Texas at Dallas (Public Administration) and I have a graduate certificate in public policy.

My favorite sports team is the San Diego Chargers. I am a euphoric fisherman and I love to make things with my hands.  We have two kids and my son fishes too and our daughter is in college.

We love to travel every blue moon out of the country.

Our favorite quote is “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing” - Edmund Burke.

Favorite Scripture

Psalm 123:1-2

I lift up my eyes to you, to you who sit enthroned in heaven.  As the eyes of slaves look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a female slave look to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the Lord our God, till he shows us his mercy.
